September 12, 2024In October, IKEP organized an international meeting in Araucania. The Lafkenche (Mapuche) welcomed us for a week for this meeting in Ekos del Monkul, a protected natural area located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The objective of this meeting was to create a space to share the educational projects of the different partners, to visit an elementary school that teaches Mapuche culture and to share our visions and recommendations in the field of indigenous education from the North and the South.
